'''Finding.''' At the start of the ceremony, all attendees were unmuted simultaneously, creating an audio environment so chaotic that the ceremony could not be heard. A properly managed ceremony begins with attendees muted and the host controlling unmuting for individual inductees.

'''Evidence.''' Observed by the reporting student during the ceremony: all attendees unmuted at the start, audio inaudible. Source Group: STTI Alpha Beta Iota 2026 Induction Ceremony, Zoom.

'''Reported statement.'''

All attendees unmuted at start, could not hear anything.

'''Standards.''' Zoom host best practices (attendees muted at start, host-managed unmuting); professional event-management standards for honor-society ceremonies. Lead: {{HU|HU-127}}.

'''Impact.''' The all-attendee unmuting error created an immediate negative impression and made the opening of the ceremony inaudible.

'''Notes.''' Sub-issue of {{HU|HU-127}} (lead). Split 2026-06-06.
