== Overview == This article collects 60 tracker entries concerning clinical placement, added between 2026-04-30 and 2026-08-11, though several entries document underlying events reaching back to the 2023-2024 academic year and December 2024. The severity mix skews heavy: seven entries are rated Critical ({{HU|HU-093}}, {{HU|HU-128}}, {{HU|HU-133}}, {{HU|HU-133a}}, {{HU|HU-141}}, {{HU|HU-141a}}, {{HU|HU-141c}}), the majority are High, several are Medium, and two are Low ({{HU|HU-181}}, {{HU|HU-196}}, the latter a resolved example). Nearly all entries are CONFIRMED from first-party emails, Canvas messages, screenshots, or institutional documents; a smaller set is marked POSSIBLE where the account is secondhand or unverified, including {{HU|HU-042}}, {{HU|HU-063}}, parts of {{HU|HU-132}}, {{HU|HU-178}}, {{HU|HU-190}}, {{HU|HU-190a}}, and part of {{HU|HU-191}}. Several recurring threads run through the collection. The largest is placement never arranged, arranged late, or arranged at excessive distance, documented for individual students ({{HU|HU-007}}, {{HU|HU-128}}, {{HU|HU-136}}, {{HU|HU-137}}) and for entire cohorts ({{HU|HU-071}}, {{HU|HU-093}}, {{HU|HU-109}}, {{HU|HU-110}}). A second thread concerns clinical hour counting: mid-semester changes to required hours, credential-type mismatches, and instructor-driven reductions appear in {{HU|HU-032}}, {{HU|HU-035}}, {{HU|HU-038}}, the {{HU|HU-141}} cluster, {{HU|HU-144}}, and {{HU|HU-191}}. A third thread concerns the marketing and reality of placement responsibility for graduate nurse practitioner students, where a "Clinical Placement Pledge" is contrasted with students sourcing their own preceptors ({{HU|HU-058}}, {{HU|HU-063}}, {{HU|HU-190}}, {{HU|HU-190a}}). A fourth thread documents administrative and records failures inside the placement system itself: missing student names on outreach documentation ({{HU|HU-072}}), duplicate and erroneous Clinician Nexus entries ({{HU|HU-133}} cluster), and inconsistent preceptor-agreement requirements across terms ({{HU|HU-170}} cluster). A fifth thread traces personnel turnover and fragmented accountability across regional coordinators, including Christina Kennedy's transition ({{HU|HU-121}}), the regional split that kept three online students from meeting together ({{HU|HU-132}}), Dr. Rachel Powell's response naming four additional administrators ({{HU|HU-134}}), and a misdirected welcome email from a new coordinator ({{HU|HU-181}}). Recurring owners include Dr. Rachel Powell (Director of Clinical Placement and Compliance, National Online), Christina Kennedy, Kate Powell (South Region), Starr Williams-Headen, Ann Zientara, Heather Klanderman, and program chairs Dr. Raywattie Prashad and Dr. Stacey Gombar, alongside clinical faculty Troy Frazier and Heather Gregg. The pattern is not confined to one region or program level: it spans prelicensure and graduate tracks, the National Online, South Region, and Florida/Tennessee placement structures, and recurs across at least three enrollment periods (Spring 2025, Summer 2026, and Fall 2026 planning). One entry, {{HU|HU-196}}, documents the placement office responding promptly and effectively when given advance notice of an external risk, and is retained for contrast with the entries describing unresolved or slow-resolved failures.
